  Q & A
Do you remember the first time you saw or heard of the Steadicam?
Never

What was it about the Steadicam that made you want to pursue it as a career?
When i saw this movie The Revenant i thought to myself its NOW i can do it and be a great cameraman ( i am a women).

What were you doing prior to Steadicam?
4 years of Refugee in my Homeland

What were some of the biggest challenges you remember about becoming a Steadicam operator?
I am Wild and very strong dealing with obstacules in Nature. I am Wild and take many risks to do what i want or plant to when i am sure of my goals, mostly never give up. When i believe i don give up. It comes from deep inside of my Human Being, My Heart.

What are some of the biggest challenges now?
Learn with you, after the images i ve seen in The Revenant i can tell you, assure you: Its your passion, i can feel it. i feel the movie throught your steps, your focus, great scenes, it looks i was in Leonardo di Caprio skeen at that moment.

Did you ever have a "big break' moment? A career event that clearly changed or paved the way for everything to follow?
Now...buyt before when i was in Barcelona i went to schools to know the price to learn and being a cameraman i give up to expensive.

From whom do you take your inspiration? Has that changed over the course of your career?
From all the movies i ve choosed to seen in my life, serching from best diretor, best fotographer" I just learned with movies, seeing what i wanna see. Movies that makes me feel like in real life.

Is there a shot, film, or moment in your career that you can think of as your most proud?
Yes! Of course. I am the first in my family to went to university (Algarve) and i was 25 years old no money from parents and i just ask for a loan to study....them for hard time family health problems and no money to finish i interrupt for 4 years and all my friends told me : why are you paying fees if you re not going back to finish. I just went there after those 4 years and finish with the best Study Research of the year that i made alone (solitaire work) - two years of reserach on field) about Whales and sustainability ( i got 17 from 0-20 scale) I lear a lot with that Project - Jesus Christ!

Hacksaw Ridge my passion will always passt hrought the Human Nature Survival, being helpful to others. Well I mean in Life most important thing is helping others, Philantropy is inside of me since child. This movie was amazing story of this soldier without weapons and his peculiar character. I am peculiar and i fight for my values and principles , no one can stop me the things i believe, Its me and the things i ve pased throught in Life.

What work of your peers do you admire?
Anthony Hopkins Merly Streep Susan Sarandon

Many people will say they've tried on a Steadicam once, and immediately thought, "absolutely not." What do you think is different about those of us that say "absolutely"?
