This is the scene in the film where Simon Pegg’s character braves a hoard of zombies to rescue his friends, who are hold up in their appartment; armed only with his cricket bat!

The key aspect of this shot is the choreography. Although it appears as though the actor is just charging through, randomly swatting at zombies, all people involved (actor, zombie, operator) actually had to hit very precise marks in order to make the strikes with the bat look convincing on camera.
